GBI has acquired 340 acres in Fort Bend County to be developed into a Foreign Trade Zone, building and leasing approximately 2.5 million square feet of office warehouse buildings within the next five years.

This property is located in front of and across Hwy 59 from the $300 million intermodal Facility with approximately 7.5 million square feet of industrial buildings to be developed by the Kansas City Southern Railway Co. and Chicago-based Center Point Properties Inc.  Between 1,000 and 2,000 employees are expected to work in the proposed intermodal and industrial facilities.
